Name
Amendment to DPA and
Amended and Restated DPA
Description
Abnormal Security has updated its Data Processing Addendum (DPA) to cover recently launched products. Customers with a stand-alone DPA dated prior to April 7, 2023 will need to either amend their current DPA or enter into a new DPA to access these new products. Abnormal Security offers the following options:
Enter into an Amendment to the DPA (sample). This Amendment replaces the “Description of Transfer” section of Annex 1.B. Your existing DPA will otherwise remain unaffected; or
Enter into an Amended and Restated DPA (sample), which replaces your current DPA entirely.
For both options, click on the URL where you can electronically sign the relevant documentation. Upon completion, a copy of the executed DPA will be emailed to the address you designate during the process.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact privacy@abnormalsecurity.com
Mutual NDA
Abnormal Security has adopted the Bonterms NDA, which is an open-sourced standard form intended to promote the speed of business without sacrificing legal protection. The NDA is prepared by a neutral party, eliminating the form battle and need for redlining as both sides of the information exchange are equally protected. For more information about Bonterms and the 60-lawyer committee that participated in drafting the NDA, see here. Parties reach agreement using a cover page, instead of redlines. To use the cover page, the parties fill in the Effective Date, other Key Terms and sign.
