Maya Marcus is the Chief People Officer at Abnormal Security, responsible for designing and executing strategies that drive employee engagement and shape the workplace experience, focused on recruiting top talent, promoting company culture and helping the people and teams at Abnormal team thrive. With over 20 years of human resources experience, Maya has deep expertise and a successful track record of scaling people practices and culture across hyper-growth technology companies.
Prior to joining Abnormal, Maya served in a variety of leadership roles at Palo Alto Networks, scaling the company from 1,500 to nearly 15,000 across eight years. Previous experience includes leadership roles at Pure Storage, Saama Technologies, NVIDIA, and SGI. Maya holds an MBA and BA from Stanford University.
